Read Frequently Asked Questions

The training program will discuss common elements of compliance program requirements across different legal areas. Using these guidelines, a company will be able to develop an operational program that will manage a company’s export decisions and export transactions in compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Why Should You Attend:

This presentation will assist companies in establishing, or enhancing, an export management and compliance program (EMCP). It will help promote good export compliance practices. It will recommend principal components of a comprehensive and effective EMCP and provide information, tools, and templates to help companies develop an EMCP.

Using these guidelines, a company will be able to accomplish two things:

  • Develop an operational program that will manage a company’s export decisions and export transactions in compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Develop a written EMCP guidelines document to ensure consistent instruction and operational application of a company’s export policies, procedures, decisions, and transactions.

Areas Covered in the Webinar:

  • What are common elements of compliance programs requirements across different legal areas?
  • Where can programs be streamlined/combined? (and when doesn’t this work)
  • Why is risk-based compliance so hard to implement, but so important
  • How to avoid (or mitigate) stove piping
  • Automation and integrated screening
