FAA QCM - Sectioned for easy revision control - conformance to FAA Advisory Circular AC 145-9 dated 7-3-03

  1. The Quality Manager is responsible for making manual revisions and shall submit revisions to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for review and acceptance.
  2. The repair station shall address how to establish the qualifications of the inspection personnel.
  3. The use of computer software for component testing (of airborne systems or equipment, avionics systems, engines, etc.) shall include procedures describing how revisions/updates are made and how the current software is distributed.
  4. Calibrated equipment shall be identified in some manner to prevent the inadvertent use of non -calibrated equipment in the maintenance process.
  5. Data is acceptable when it meets the requirements of the applicable regulations.
