Description

Why Should You Attend :

Nutrition Labeling is one of the most recent updates to the CFR. Customers rely more and more on retail labeling to manage diet due to diabetes, obesity and other health conditions. Accurate labeling is required for these individuals. The FDA is sensitive to this need and may audit products at any time to ensure compliance. The Nutritional Labeling and Education Act of 1990 AKA NLEA defines what should appear on packaged retail products.

Printing of labels is expensive and for long shelf life products has a lengthy lifecycle that becomes expensive to make corrections. Getting it right the first time saves time, money and helps the customers. In this webinar, you will learn how to calculate the serving sizes and source information for the label.
