Instructor Profile:
Mitchell Langbert, teaches management and managerial skills at Brooklyn College, a campus of the City University of New York, and for 14 years taught organizational behavior and conflict and negotiation in the Langone evening MBA program of New York University’s Stern School of Business. He has served as an expert witness on numerous human resource-related cases. As well, he provides team building and executive training to senior officers of the NYPD.

Professor Langbert’s fields of expertise include competencies required in human resource education, employee benefit plan management and business ethics. He has published numerous articles in such journals as Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Labor Research, Journal of Economic Issues, Human Resource Management Journal, Benefits Quarterly, and Journal of Business Ethics/International Journal of Value Based Management. Formerly, he worked in the human resource and labor relations departments of Johnson and Johnson and Inco Limited (now Vale) and on the ways and means committee staff of the New York State Assembly.

Professor Langbert earned his M.B.A. from UCLA and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
