Why Should You Attend:

Retailers with both national brands and private labels; Consumer Product Goods (CPG), Consumer Electronics and Brand manufacturers are increasingly focused on managing the risks related to working conditions in the supply chain. Supply chain social compliance has become an integral part of managing risks for companies at all levels within the value chain. Organizations are increasingly committed to corporate social responsibility initiatives and need to ensure that the elements of their supply chain are adhering to International Labor Standards and other applicable Local Labor Laws.

While organizations have established policies and codes of conduct defining expectations for the supply chain - actively managing this element of quality including the development and management of information to support business decision making has become a very complex and cumbersome process.

Effective social compliance programs need to identify issues within supply chain facilities - through a company's directed efforts and leveraging available compliance information developed through other systems - related to Child Labor, Involuntary Labor, Women's Rights, Harassment and Abuse, Wages & Benefits, Working Hours, Discrimination, Health and Safety, Freedom of Association; support suppliers' efforts to implement necessary corrective actions and remediate identified issues.

Join this webinar with Randy Rankin - Vice President CSR Services at Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services and learn best practices for efficiently managing social compliance programs
