Why Should You Attend:

Energy & Utilities need to manage increasing regulatory and reliability compliance requirements from FERC, NERC, ERO, NRC on various aspects including federal licensing, power generation, power transmission, environmental and workplace safety sectors resulting in an increasing number of compliance and auditable tasks across the organization. In order to remain in compliance the individual workgroups must integrate these tasks with existing business processes and then ensure that all tasks are performed according to regulatory deadlines. As the number of compliance tasks rapidly increase, the likelihood of missing these deadlines increases.

Organizations need to enforce effective policies and procedures, implement proactive regulatory compliance programs to avoid penalties. Program managers should implement a comprehensive framework for compliance oversight; improve efficiency by automating the management, measurement, remediation and reporting of regulatory and policy compliance activities; implement a software application that will accommodate unified and centralized entry, storage, monitoring, analysis and reporting of compliance activities.

Areas Covered in the Webinar:
  • Develop and enforce effective policies and procedures
  • Implement and manage an effective compliance program to assess, demonstrate and document FERC, NERC, ERO, NRC and other compliance requirements
  • Develop Corporate policies and practices for Audit, Reporting and Self-Certification
  • Integrate Risk Assessments into Compliance and Audit Programs
  • Design, implement and assess internal controls; tasks and related audit programs to achieve sustainable compliance
