This training program will discuss global considerations for supplements and nutritional products as well as the country/region specific considerations for them. It will also elaborate healthcare authorities’ outlook, global expansion challenges, product classification, and marketing challenges in the industry.

Why Should You Attend:

Increasing global demand for supplements and natural health products has resulted in companies exploring options of marketing their products outside of the United States. However, the prospect of bringing new or existing products to emerging markets brings with it uncertainty, additional regulatory hurdles and cultural challenges. It is important for companies to understand how to effectively navigate these murky waters to ensure compliance and give your products the best opportunity for long term success in these foreign markets.

This 90 minute webinar will provide a high level overview of areas to consider prior to taking a supplement or natural health product to various global markets. A comparison of the regulations, healthcare authorities and cultural differences in the US, Europe, Canada, Latin America, Japan, China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East will also be addressed. The course will also discuss considerations that differ in the various global markets for these products such as terminology, country representation, product classification, ingredients, licensing, labeling and claims.
