Why Should You Attend:

Universities and Educational Institutions today are exposed to a complex array of risks related to IT security & privacy, identity assurance & access control, research, policy and document storage, management of conflict of interests and adherence to standards of ethical conduct. Governments too now have very strict legislation on education. With most Universities still functionally and technically disaggregated, not implementing a sustained enterprise wide compliance and risk program could hinder business performance and escalate the risk of non-compliance.

Join this webinar, where panelists will provide insights on implementing an integrated framework for an effective risk management process that will help universities in identifying & assessing risks, implementing & monitoring controls and mitigating the gaps across its vast multi-country operations.

Key Aspects in the Webinar:
  • Major risks, limitations and challenges for Universities & Educational Institutions
  • How to evaluate & ensure compliance of internal processes with applicable laws, policies, regulations, etc. (i.e., research assurances, web accessibility, HIPAA, etc.)
  • How to develop a robust, sustainable ERM model in a culture of silos; helping institutions in monitoring the health of the student population, protecting the information resources from unauthorized access or damage and university intellectual property as well.
  • The key attributes & essentials of a successful ERM program
  • Role of technology in adopting and implementing an effective risk program
