Testimonials

See What People Say About Us

It was so helpful to have one on one access to a knowledge source. I had lots of questions and Elga was able to answer them all. Elga is a jewel; I really enjoyed meeting and learning from her.

Elga is a very good instructor – kept us engaged and she provided a comfortable setting for class participants and questions.

Elga was so good and knowledgeable. I look forward to more training with her. I have also recommended my assistant to take a course with Elga. She is the best.

My favorite part of the training was Elga Lejarza. She made the course so interesting and her knowledge was just above what I expected.

As always, I enjoyed the trainer. Elga Lejarza does an excellent job with the training she provides. She is very in-depth with training and offers a lot of real word examples. This was the second training I have attended with Ms. Lejarza.

Elga was wonderful! I really enjoyed her class and I feel that I learned valuable information. Her on the job examples made the material interesting and allowed me to apply it to my own position.

Elga was awesome. She made the training easy to understand; provided lots of examples which were very helpful; and definitely made it very comfortable for all participants to provide input and ask questions. It is one of the best trainings I have gone to.

Elga is a great presenter. She is very knowledgeable and really kept each day interesting!

I needed examples and scenarios and Elga provided both. She answered every question I asked and she even stayed after the class to give me and the others a more detailed view on the FMLA/ADA process.

Elga is extremely knowledgeable and communicates very well. She gives examples from her vast experience which makes learning so much easier if you can apply to a real life situation.

Elga is an amazing trainer/presenter.

Elga was knowledgeable and welcomed questions, great training!

Local Attractions of Providence, RI

WaterFire

WaterFire

WaterFire is the award-winning sculpture by Barnaby Evans presented on the rivers of downtown Providence, RI. It was first created by Evans in 1994 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of First Night Providence, and has since become an annual public art phenomenon. WaterFire is simultaneously a free public art installation, a performance work, an urban festival, a civic ritual, and a spiritual communal ceremony, well known nationally and internationally as a community arts event. WaterFire’s symbolism and interpretation is both inclusive and expansive - reflecting the recognition that individuals must act together to strengthen and preserve their community. On WaterFire evenings, downtown Providence is transformed by eighty six anchored burning braziers (each with approximately 33 pieces of wood) that float just above the surface of the rivers that flow through Waterplace Park (the Woonasquatucket river) and the middle of downtown Providence (the Moshassuck and Providence rivers). The public is invited to come and walk the riverfront and enjoy the beauty of the flickering firelight, the fragrant scent of aromatic wood smoke, the changing silhouettes of the volunteer firetenders, and the music from around the world.

Roger-Williams-Park

Roger-Williams-Park

Roger Williams Park is an elaborately landscaped 427-acre city park in Providence. The park was constructed in the 1880s with additions down the years. Currently it contains the Roger Williams Park Zoo, the Roger Williams Park Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, the Japanese Gardens, the Victorian Rose Gardens, the Providence Police Department's Mounted Command Center, the Dalrymple Boathouse and boat rentals, historical tours, a Carousel Village for children that includes the "Hasbro Boundless Playground" which is accessible for handicapped children, the Temple to Music, the Roger Williams Park Casino, large greenspaces, and many miles of walking paths.

Rhode Island State House

The Rhode Island State House is the capitol of the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is located on the border of the Downtown and Smith Hill sections of the state capital city of Providence. The State House is a neoclassical building that houses the Rhode Island General Assembly and the offices of the governor of Rhode Island. One of the first public buildings to use electricity, the Rhode Island State House is lit by 109 floodlights and two searchlights at night. Inside the State House is carved marble. Over the pillared porticoes are quotations and historical chronologies of Rhode Island. Throughout the rotunda are battle flags, statues, and guns representing the state's military past. In the center of the rotunda, under the marble dome, is a brass replica of the state seal.

Slater Mill Historic Site

Slater Mill Historic Site

The Slater Mill is a historic textile mill complex on the banks of the Blackstone River in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, modeled after cotton spinning mills first established in England. It is the first water-powered cotton spinning mill in North America to utilize the Arkwright system of cotton spinning as developed by Richard Arkwright. The Slater Mill site now serves as a museum, educational center, and music venue, which "celebrates innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit by engaging audiences in relevant cultural, historic, and artistic endeavors". It includes five acres of land on both sides of the Blackstone River, a dam on the river, two historic mills (the Slater Mill and Wilkinson Mill), and the Sylvanus Brown House.

John Brown House

John Brown House

The John Brown House is the first mansion built in Providence, RI. It is located at 52 Power Street on College Hill, and borders the campus of Brown University. The house is named after the original owner and one of the early benefactors of the University, the early American merchant, and statesman, John Brown. The interior of the house follows a traditional Georgian plan, with a central hallway flanked by two rooms on either side. The hall is a particularly grand one, with engaged columns on which architectural busts are mounted, and a two-stage stairwell with an ornate twisting banister. Richly detailed woodwork is evident in all of the public rooms.
