In this Packaging & Labeling training we take on what is probably P.E.T. greatest nemesis -- especially for those manufacturing and using P.E.T. Bottles in warm climates.

This is the first of three sessions dedicated to the quality manufacturing of P.E.T. (polyester) Containers. In this first session, we take on what is probably P.E.T. greatest nemisis -- especially for those manufacturing and using P.E.T. Bottles in warm climates. As is typical for any such nemisis, a lot of myths have developed as to how to deal with the problem. This session talk brings perspective to five of the most popular ones by discussing what the data says about them.

Areas Covered in the seminar:

  • A historical sketch for stress cracking
  • What is stress cracking and it’s nature
  • The five most common myths about stress cracking
  • How to optimize and control stress cracking resistance

Who Will Benefit:

This session will greatly benefit organizations that manufacture or fill P.E.T. Bottles. Individuals who are responsible for quality, production, process set-up, maintenance, or general management.
