Why Should You Attend:

Recently, a poll run amongst risk managers pointed that "Specific and Predictive" was the most desirable attribute of key risk indicators. We do not believe that predictive KRIs is a fallacy like some pretend. KRI must and can address the root causes of events, and therefore be predictive. Examples of predictive KRIs are, depending on the activity: stretch of resources, lack of training in control functions, network overload, and lack of credit documentation. Examples are many. The most important factor in selecting predictive risk indicators is the understanding of the business; it is "to better understand the causal links between process failures and operational losses".

This webinar reviews some of the most desirable features of KRIs, from the SMART acronym to scarcity and predictability. It suggests a simple and effective method to select predictive risk indicators for any specific business. The webinar also delves into some of the technological constructs which help organizations build a truly predictive model for their key indicators.

Key Discussion Points are:

  • Risk and Performance Indicators
  • PI or KRI?
  • Indicators: be SMART
  • KRI: Challenges
  • Selecting Predictive Risk Indicators
  • Technological constructs for predictive indicators
