Why Should You Attend:

The first step to build an effective and sensible business continuity plan is to carry out an accurate business impact analysis (BIA). The BIA uses objectives of the business, obligations it has entered into and the nature of the market in which it operates to ensure that a recovery strategy developed from the results is optimum for their needs. However, many organizations are unsure of how to approach this vital step.

Join this webinar with Ian Charters, A Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute and an Independent BCM consultant with Continuity Systems to validate your concepts and bridge this gap in your BCM program

Areas Covered in the Webinar:
  • What is BIA? Keeping it simple
  • The structure of the BIA process
  • Time is of the essence - How do you measure that?
  • Effective ways of measuring impacts
  • Documenting resources
  • How is the BIA information used in determining strategy?
  • The first BIA - a special case
  • Summary - Why do a BIA
  • Insight to MetricStream solution to perform BIA
