Instructor Profile:

Rebecca Herold, CISSP, CISM, CISA, FLMI, is an information privacy, security and compliance consultant, author and instructor. She is also an adjunct professor for the Norwich University Master of Science in Information Assurance (MSIA) program. Rebecca has provided a wide range of information security, privacy and regulatory services to organizations in a wide range of industries throughout the world for over 16 years, assisting them with their information privacy, security and regulatory compliance programs, policies and procedures, content development, strategy development and implementation.

Rebecca was instrumental in building the information security and privacy program while at Principal Financial Group, which was awarded the 1998 CSI Information Security Program of the Year Award. Rebecca has been Vice President of Privacy Services and Chief Privacy Officer for two consulting organizations, and in 2004 established and continues to lead her own company, Rebecca Herold, LLC.

Rebecca has authored six published books, a few of which include “The Privacy Papers,” “Managing an Information Security and Privacy Awareness and Training Program,” and “The Privacy Management Toolkit.” Rebecca has also authored dozens of book chapters and hundreds of articles for multiple publications.
