This webinar will provide an overview of the new law and major changes to Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). All chemical stakeholders doing business in the U.S. will need to understand the fundamental shifts in requirements, the new concepts and approaches that are introduced by the law, and the timetable that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must follow in implementing the new law.

Why Should You Attend:

The increasing demand for safer products has signaled an increase in more robust chemical management for the chemical industry. The long-awaited Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (LCSA) amends the TSCA and gives the EPA more effective federal oversight of chemicals. The goal is to provide Americans greater confidence that chemicals in commerce are being used safely. Both American and global chemical companies must develop scientific and strategic regulatory plans to facilitate communication throughout their supply chain. Intertek offers practical solutions to guide you through the implementation process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the TSCA and LCSA impact more than just industrial chemical manufacturers
  • Recognize the implications of these changes on your supply chain
  • Identify immediate actions

Areas Covered in the Webinar:

  • A brief overview of the new TSCA regulations
  • The impact that these changes have on industry
  • The key processes required to guide you through implementation
