Why Should You Attend:
The Affordable Care Act and subsequent CMS Final Rule requires any provider type that is participating in Medicare and receives Medicare reimbursement needs to know the law and rules associated with monitoring for overpayments and returning overpayments within the required 60 days. Failure to return overpayments can subject providers to the fines and penalties under the False Claims Act.
It’s been almost two years since CMS’ final rule on Reporting and Returning of Overpayments went into effect. At the time, one could only guess what the future would hold for healthcare organizations and the 60-day overpayment rule. Now after 2 years it is having a lot of impact on the auditing process of compliance programs. Now organizations have learned what they can do differently and better to protect themselves from liability.
Attend this webinar to learn basic background of the law and 60 Day overpayment Final Rule and how it has impacted health care providers so far.
