Instructor Profile:

Kenneth Barden is an attorney with over 25 years of experience within the United States and internationally. Mr. Barden is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and holds a Master in Business Administration degree in addition to his law degree. He helped set up the banking and anti-money laundering laws in Palau and served as its first Financial Intelligence Unit coordinator. He has conducted anti-money laundering training and assessments in Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. In 2005, he led a project to develop compliance audit standards for non-bank financial institution regulators in Indonesia. He has written several articles on anti-money laundering.
