Why Should You Attend:

Excel provides predesigned templates which are worksheets for common uses. Templates contain standard or boilerplate text, but can be modified to fit your needs. Use the templates automatically installed with Excel, or download free templates from the Office Online.

Consider the workbook (file) as a 3-ring binder containing your project. Each worksheet tab in the workbook is a section in the 3-ring binder; each representing a part of the project. By default, a new Excel 2016 workbook has one blank worksheets. The default sheet name is Sheet1. Learn to add, edit, delete, rename and change the order of your worksheets.

To be able to quickly see differences in numbers at a glance, use Conditional Formatting. Conditional formatting format cells by changing the cells' fill color, font color or border styles ONLY if a defined criterion exists. Conditional formatting can be applied to one or several cells, rows, columns or the entire table. Create rules to define when and how the selected cells should be formatted.

Numbers can be represented visually in a chart. On the Insert tab, you can choose from a variety of chart types, including column, line, pie, bar, area, and scatter. The basic procedure for creating a chart is the same regardless of what type of chart you choose. As data changes, the chart will automatically update.
