Why Should You Attend:

Work-life balance is a big issue for employees and an even bigger issue for employers. From maternity (and paternity) leave to breast feeding to remote access, issues regarding families are on the rise. Even without one specific law on work-life balance, the EEOC estimates there are seventeen different theories that a plaintiff can use to sue for work-life employment violations.

Remaining up to date on the current status of the law is essential. If you haven’t caught up with the laws as they currently stand on pregnancy, child care, breast feeding, non-traditional families, you need to attend this program.

Areas Covered in the Webinar:

  • Laws that impact pregnancy and child-rearing, including:
    • Family Medical Leave Act
    • Americans with Disabilities Act
    • Pregnancy Discrimination Act
    • Fair Labor Standards Act
    • National Defense Authorization Act, and
    • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996
  • Best practices

Who Will Benefit:

  • HR Directors, Managers and Executives
  • Employee Relations Executives
  • People Managers
  • Business Directors
  • Any CO involved with employee relations/human resources and/or social media
