This webinar will provide valuable improvements to all organizations that are compliant to ISO 9001:2000. The changes are easy to implement and are not costly to the organization.

ISO 9001:2000 describes a basic, effective generic management system.

As an auditor I believe in adding value to my clients by suggesting opportunities for improvement. From my experience, the most effective “value ads” to the basic ISO 9001 system are:

  • Continual Improvement: Clause 8.5.1 can be improved
  • Increased customer and supplier Communication
  • Expanding the Process approach
  • More effective product realization planning
  • Risk management using ISO 9001

My experience as an ISO 9001 auditor has shown that the five additions described above have paid dividends in improving quality, eliminating non-value added activities and reducing risk. Organizations compliant to ISO 9001:2000 should consider using them as a first step toward excellence.

Areas Covered in the seminar:

  • So you're registered to ISO 9001. Now What?
  • Adding the missing pieces to ISO 9001 continual improvement.
  • ISO 9001 doesn't measure effectiveness. Here's how.
  • Customer & Supplier Communication is missing. Add it!
  • Five key additions to the Process Approach.
  • Three key additions to Product Realization Planning.
  • Add Risk Management to quality management system planning.
