Why Should You Attend:

Any company or person that imports products into the United States must continue to carefully monitor and possibly re-evaluate procedures on anti-dumping and countervailing duties (AD/CVD).

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), continues to implement a new enforcement authority under the Trade Facilitation and Enforcement Act, or TFTEA, which may be very costly to importers who fail to determine if the goods they import are subject to AD/CVD – these include large costs for owed AD/CVD and resulting penalties imposed by the CBP.

This webinar will discuss how to carefully monitor and re-evaluate procedures concerning AD and CV duties, and avoid civil and, possibly, criminal penalties. You will gain knowledge about AD/CVD issues, and how to exercise reasonable care in determining whether any AD/CVD orders apply to the company's imported goods. You will learn how to stay focused on your customers' needs while avoiding costly and bitter entanglements with CBP.
